Chams Nigeria Plc introduced the Chams varsity to embed Chams corporate cul
ture and managerial principles into her Management Trainees. The aim of the Chams Varsity programme is to develop a corp of employees that would take the leadership reins in the future.
Objective
For an organization to outlive its founders, a succession plan has to be in place to build and develop leaders from within the organization. This brings in the concept of mentoring and leadership development.
The Chams Varsity project is set out to employ fresh university graduates and put them on the succession path. Building young and innovative individuals, to take up the leadership mantle of the organization in the near future; hence the slogan …raising innovative leaders.
